Crowdsource Choir Sings Metallica with Shaina Shepherd

  • Hillman City Collaboratory 5623 Rainier Avenue South Seattle, WA, 98118 United States (map)

Come sing and rock out with Shaina Shepherd, who will lead the choir in singing an original choral arrangement of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" on Thursday, April 4 from 8-10pm at The Hillman City Collaboratory.

Brooklyn bred Seattlite, Shaina Shepherd, is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and creator living in Columbia City, Seattle. She studied vocal performance at New York University. After sustaining a vocal injury in 2011, Shaina developed a new sense of musicianship — taking influence from rock, soul and R&B to tell her story through a new instrument. She is the lead singer of Seattle rock and roll band BEARAXE, hosts a collaborative music jam in Columbia City, teaches voice and piano and lends her powerful vocals to various music projects nationwide.

You'll learn and group sing Metallica's "Enter Sandman" in choir parts with a bunch of strangers and probably have more fun than most other times in your life.

***no singing experience required***
$5 donations (or more) accepted :-)
